Honorable Judge Kenneth Gillespie

Gillespie received his associate degree from St. Johns River Community College in 1988, his bachelor's degree from Florida Memorial University in 1990, and his J.D. from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1995. He was admitted to the Bar in 1996.  Gillespie began his legal career in 1996 as an assistant state attorney in Broward County. He worked in that capacity until 1999, when he became a U.S. Senior Trial Attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In 2004, he became a Broward County General Magistrate, a position he held until he joined the circuit court in 2009.
