MESSAGE FROM THE ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL OF BROWARD, INC. Estate Planning Council of Broward County Charles D. Zalakar - President 2024-2025
Dear Members and Colleagues, Welcome to the 2024-2025 season! I am most happy and honored to be serving as the 66th acting President of the Estate Planning Council of Broward County. I would like to thank all of the past board members for their hard work and effort in sustaining and revitalizing the organization. Since the COVID epidemic, the organization emerged with innovative ideas and fresh perspectives including the young professional’s group, a wonderful new venue, and community involvement, which resulted in an increase in membership and active participation. Our strong leadership made that all possible. Our mission is not only to provide quality education opportunities with timely topics and dynamic speakers, but to also provide a forum for estate planning professionals to network with other professionals where they can collaborate and develop meaningful working relationships. I can credit my years belonging to this organization as my introduction to many trusted local professionals that I work with as a team to service our mutual clients with their estate planning needs. I encourage all members to use this organization to develop their own professional network. We always welcome and encourage feedback and suggestions from our membership. Please feel free to reach out directly to me and/or any of the Council Board Members to give us your input on how we can better serve the needs of our members. I want to thank the current board members for volunteering their time and energy to plan our upcoming year. I am confident that we will once again have a successful year with wonderful education opportunities and most importantly FUN! Our dinner meeting dates are now set. They will once again take place at the Lauderdale Yacht Club from 5:30 to 7:30. Please take a moment and add the following dates to your calendars:
